Saudi Aramco successfully held a major signing ceremony in late April / early May 2026, officially launching new Project Management Company (PMC) Long‑Term Agreements (LTAs) and expanding its existing Brownfield LTAs. This milestone marks a significant step in Aramco’s strategy to accelerate infrastructure enhancements, upgrade existing facilities, and ensure the long‑term reliability of its oil and gas assets.
These agreements play a central role in supporting Aramco’s commitment to operational excellence while advancing the goals of the IKTVA (In‑Kingdom Total Value Add) program through increased local content, workforce localization, and sustainable industrial growth within the Kingdom.
Industry Participation
The signing ceremony brought together Saudi Aramco leadership and a diverse group of approved PMC and Brownfield contractors, including GS Construction Arabia Sole Proprietorship LTD. The participation of GS Construction Arabia reflects its continued role in supporting Aramco’s project delivery objectives and its alignment with the Kingdom’s localization and IKTVA goals.
Purpose and Scope
The 2026 PMC and Brownfield LTAs cover a wide range of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services for brownfield oil and gas projects, as well as project management services to support facility upgrades, debottlenecking initiatives, and production capacity maintenance across Aramco’s operating assets.
Key Focus Areas
The expanded LTAs emphasize:
Strengthening local supply chains and in‑kingdom capabilities
Enhancing Saudization and skills development
Improving health, safety, quality, and execution standards
Promoting long‑term collaboration with approved and qualified contractors
Contract Structure
The LTAs are structured with a six‑year base term, including options for extension. Under this framework, selected contractors are eligible to participate in restricted Contract Release Purchase Orders (CRPOs), allowing Aramco to efficiently execute projects while maintaining consistency in standards and performance.
